RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return.

Requirements for Eligibility to Return:

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition and packaging that you received it in, unworn or unused with tags attached, and in its original, undamaged packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Security Tag: Our products may be shipped with a brightly coloured security tag or sticker attached to the sunglasses. Removal of this tag will automatically void your eligibility to return the product. BEFORE REMOVING the security tag, ensure that you have inspected the sunglasses for any defects and are happy with your purchase. Once removed, the product will be considered used and we will no longer accept the item for return. 

Returns Process:

To start a return, you can access the self-returns feature by logging into your Moshades.co.za account, select the order you wish to return and select "REQUEST RETURN." This option will only become available once the order has been processed and fulfilled on our side.

Alternatively, you can contact us at hello@moshades.co.za. Please note that returns will be arranged by us, from your delivery address specified on your initial order. Please include your order number in the subject line of your email addressed to hello@moshades.co.za .

The approval of a return is at our sole discretion.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item/product is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue, if any and correct it. All items are inspected thoroughly prior to shipment and recorded as 100% condition.

If you have not notified us within 14 days of delivery of the order/product of a defect /issue, it is deemed to have been delivered to you without defects or issues.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products) or goods that cannot be returned for hygienic purposes or for reasons of public health or otherwise, or where a public regulation prohibits the return of a product or once the product goods has been partially or entirely disassembled, physically altered, permanently installed, affixed, attached, joined or added to, blended or combined with, or embedded within, other goods or property.

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have ordered, and once the return is accepted by us, you will be able to make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days from the date of the approval. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Bank processing times are not within our control.
